Wherever Atticus goes there he is, and his journey has led him from Santa Fe, New Mexico to right here in the greater Seattle area. Atticus has always been fascinated and obsessed with rebirth–whether with life or within life.

An explorer rooted in his own experiences and reflecting those experiences through his art, his inexorable desire to change and evolve seem to drive his penchant for working in multiple styles and mediums. As Atticus puts it, “I think a lot of the time, we try to figure out the art, rather than ourselves … try to learn yourself before the art.”

Watching the ways trees would be consumed by air and earth yet still simultaneously persist to sprout new life, Atticus seems drawn to the fact that their appearance and circumstances may change, yet their purpose remains the same.
